Process
This animation was inspired by an image I took at Battleground Lake State Park--one of my favorite spots in Vancouver, WA.
The background was illustrated in Photoshop, and the animation and compositing was done entirely in Toon Boom Harmony.
The Idea for the camera movement was originally inspired by the "Raining Life" scene from Bill Kroyer's Ferngully: The Last Rainforest wherein the camera pans through a tropical canopy.
